Billy Smith
Our Founder
Born in Ogden, UT and raised in Las Vegas, NV Billy has been involved with building for as long as he can remember. He grew up on the jobsite with his Father who was an electrician and eventually earned his bachelor's degree in construction management from Weber State University. Immediately following college Billy began working for one for the largest contractors in the country managing multiple portions of large Hospitality and Gaming projects along the Las Vegas Strip. Billy then decided to get back to the type of work he was always most passionate about and started working for a large luxury custom home builder in Park City, UT. All of this led to Billy eventually partnering with Shaun to open SBS builders.
Shaun Shellabarger
Co-Founder
Shaun, a native of Ogden, Utah, brings 28 years of experience in the construction industry. Starting as an apprentice, he worked his way up to general foreman at a specialty commercial contracting company, managing multimillion-dollar projects and leading teams to successful project completion. After running a roofing company that he founded, Shaun co-founded SBS Builders with Billy. Together, they are committed to building high-quality, custom homes along the Wasatch Front, combining expertise, craftsmanship, and a dedication to excellence in every project.
